To Our Children's Children's Children

I decided it would be appropriate to dedicate a song to my future offspring. I love the band, I love the video, I love the words. Please enjoy "Invincible" by Muse.

Follow through
Make your dreams come true
Don't give up the fight
You will be alright
Cause there's no one like you in the universe

Don't be afraid
What your mind consumes
You should make a stand
Stand up for what you believe
And tonight
We can truly say
Together we're invincible

During the struggle
They will pull us down
But please, please
Lets use this chance
To turn things around
And tonight
We can truly say
Together we're invincible

Do it on your own
It makes no difference to me
What you leave behind
What you choose to be
And whatever they say
Your souls unbreakable

During the struggle
They will pull us down
But please, please
Lets use this chance
To turn things around
And tonight
We can truly say
Together we're invincible
Together we're invincible

  1. Ah, Muse...the band no one in my part of the country (read: redneck, mountain, Bible-belt--and I mean this in the best way possible!) has ever heard of. LOVE THEM! Love the song, too. Great choice! There needs to be a worldwide appreciation of Muse.

  2. Hooray! I'm glad to hear that someone else shares my love of Muse. As it turns out, there IS a worldwide appreciate of Muse. They are big all over the world, and in some parts of the United States, lol.

  3. I'm a fan of the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer, a "young adult" series--but appreciated by "middle agers," too, as they are fabulous. And about vampires, which I have a thing for!. I digress. Anyway, apparently she is an enormous Muse lover, so her young readers/fans are catching on. I knew they were huge in England, but my worldview gets rather limited here in "Mayberry," as I refer to my little town with a population of 3500. Here it's either country, southern Gospel, or nothing at all. I'm working on these people, though I assume Muse will never catch on here. Ah, they don't know what they're missing. I break out The Cure and receive strange looks. Or maybe I'm getting these looks because I am strange. Yeesh...oh well. Muse rocks!
