Passing it on...

Something that I am intensely interested in is passing along MY passions to my sweet baby. To all my future offspring, really. I'll be listening to the radio on my way to work and hear a song, and think "I can't wait to play this for the baby!!" But, I as quickly as these thoughts enter my mind, a severe case of placenta brain forces the thought back out the other side.

My solution? I need to start recording these thoughts here!! Right here in this blog. And I'm going to make an effort to start using labels for my posts so when the baby finally gets to an age where he can appreciate music, I can pull up all my posts and start passing along the goods!

So, here is my first post. I thought I'd start with a simple list of Music and Movies that I can't wait to share with Baby G!

  1. What a great idea! If only I had grown up being introduced to new music maybe I'd be more knowledgeable and more into music. Lula's going to love that Muse is #1 on your list.

  2. Vicki - Lula has excellent taste in music, I have to admit :) And it is never too late to educate yourself in the world of music and take your daughters along for the ride.

Francis - Sorry, I have never heard of anything you mentioned :) I'll have to do some investigating!!

  3. Yes, Lula loves Muse...and the rest of your list. I mean, Oingo Boingo? COME ON--that rocks my life. "Everybody's coming leave your body at the door..." Love it.

And your movie list? Girl, we are Sci-Fi/Fantasy nerds separated at birth.

Along that vein--are you LOVING Battlestar Galactica? It's my new obsession...watched all 3 seasons on DVD earlier this year to get caught up with Season 4...and now I'm for the second half of 4, which is months away. So get caught up before the baby's here. You won't regret it. I love my BSG!!!!!
