What do you think?

Boy, or Girl? I find out in a very small amount of time - in less than 48 hours, actually! I'm so excited, I can barely contain myself! Also excited because I started to feel Baby G flippin' around today. No kicking or punching --- guess "G" just wanted to get more comfortable!

There is a poll up on my sidebar - I would love for you to participate because, well, it is fun for me!

I can't wait to start shopping this weekend :) I promise you all a belly shot photo and pictures of all the goodies!

Other exciting stuff? One of my Rachael Ray Cook Books has arrived! 30 Minute Meals, here I come!! I would also love to know what your favorite meals are. I'm always on the lookout for a good recipe, and a lot of cookbooks tend to have recipes that include things I don't like, such as olives, mushrooms, and squash/zuchinni. Oh, and I don't like fish. Or any seafood for that matter. So, with that in mind, what are your favorite recipes??? :)

  1. I've got two recipes up on my blog that are good. And easy.

    Ham & Cheese Biscuits

    and Bacon Basil Chicken

I get Rachel Ray's magazine. We've tried lots of her recipes and haven't had a bad one yet. Just don't be surprised when her 30 minute recipes actually take longer than 30 minutes to prepare. Unles you're a chopping machine. And if you've got everything ready to go.

Can't wait to see pics! And hear the results!

  2. Oh, and I had to vote for a girl because the other voters voted for a boy...

  3. Thanks for the recipes Vicki! And, either way, your odds are good :) 50/50.

I've often wondered if the Rachel Ray recipes can actually be accomplished in 1/2 an hour. Perhaps if you do a lot of prep at the beginning of the week...

  5. I vote for a girl, too...but that's just because I have 2 girls, like Vicki. It's all we know! Regardless, I pray Baby Gaines will be healthy and happy, 'cause that's "mainest" thing, as my husband's grandmother used to say.
